Whenever using soft larger baits, use 0.25 Bait Elastic liberally in order to allow it to squeeze all those oils and juices within the chosen bait, such juices produce a good scent, and it will attract fish.
Whenever using smaller hooks when fishing for small edible fish such as Pompano, Whiting, Croakers, etc. use the 0.15 Bait Elastic to allow your bait to stay in your hook longer to increase your hook rate.
WE also encourage you to use bait Elastic liberally in order to discourage small fish and crabs from picking your baits to bits and cleaning (more like robbing) your hooks in minutes after deployment!
When slide-baiting from either a Pier or the Surf, use bait elastic to present the hook in an exposed position within the outside of the bait instead of buried in the bait itself, this can and will greatly improve bite to hook up ratios.
