Fishing has always been more than a hobby for us - it's a way of life. We remember one summer evening at a small fishing pier in Texas City. The sun was setting, rods were in the holders, and out of nowhere, my reel's clicker started screaming, and our youngest yelled, “I got one!” A solid black drum (AKA Big Ugly) bent the rod and brought the whole pier to life. Moments like that are why we fish - not just for the catch, but for the memories.
